Hafeez Contractor is one of India's leading architects and has helped change the face of the nation's urban landscape forever. He commenced his career in 1968 with T.Khareghat as an apprentice architect and has practiced independently since 1982. His architectural firm is now one of India's largest and most reputed.

Hafeez had many architectural awards under his belt and has also been a visiting faculty member at the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai in the past. He is a member of the Mumbai Heritage Committee New Delhi Lutyens Bungalow Zone Review Committee.

He won the Priyadarshini Award for Excellence in Architecture in 1996.

 Mr. Hiranandani is involved in various socio-economic committees like reforms in Housing & Urban De elopement in Maharashtra and a Study Group on Slum Rehabilitation Scheme of Govt. of Maharashtra. Mr.Rajan Lakule presently working as Architect, Interior Designer, Professor and Principal at Sir.J .J College Of Architecture, Mumbai. He passed in first class with distinction and Gold medal from Sir.J .J College Of Architecture, Mumbai.

He was Former Visiting Professor for College of Architecture, Kolhapur, A.B College of Architecture, Sangli.
He was also the former Architect for Aakruti Nirmitti, Sangli. He was the former Executive Director CLP Consultants Pvt.Ltd., Sangli and former Principal of A.B. College of Architecture, Sangli, former Member, Board of Studies Shivaji University, Kolhapur, former member Panel of Examiner, Shivaji University, Goa University.

He was the former chairman Board Of Studies Member Academic Council, Member Research and Recognition Committee, Member Teaching and Research Committee, University of Mumbai.

Babita Krishnan a Graduate in English Literature from Delhi University and a Post Graduate in Business Management. She as Editor of Society Interiors has over the past 10 years seen the progress made by the Architecture and Interior Design Industry from close quarters.

Society Interiors has successfully transformed itself from a niche magazine read only by the fraternity to something that has been accepted by amateurs and professionals alike, with innovative design and presentation formats along with quality content. Mr.Nitin Killawala, Architect Mumbai formed Group Seven Architects & Planners Pvt. Ltd. along with two of his partners and won several Architectural Competitions.

Worked on varied types of projects of Architecture & Interiors from Residences to Housing Complexes, from Schools to Shopping Malls, from Research Centers to Corporate Offices and from Resorts to Multiplexes.

His works are regularly featured in Professional magazines and periodicals and has been visiting faculty in several architectural colleges. He is also on board of studies of CEPT’s School of Interior Design - Ahemadabad and KRVI Institute, Bombay. He is presently the President of Institute of Indian Interior Designers.

Ar. Gurunath Dalvi President II-A graduated from Sir. J. J. College of Architecture. He has been practicing Architect for more than 38 years. He was Principal / Director L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai from 1987-2006. He has been Recipient of “Best Teacher Award” from Govt of Maharashtra for the year 1995- 96.

He has been IIA Council Member from 1988 – 1994, Hon. Treasure 1996 – 1998, was instrumental in making the Institutes financial position sound & stable, Chairman, Board of Examination & Board of Architectural Education 1996 – 1998, Vice President IIA & Chairman BOAE – 2002-2004, President, THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF Architects (2004-2006). He has also represented IIA at ARCASIA Conference held at Tokyo in 1997, Dhaka (Bangladesh) in 2004, Chiang mai (Bangkok) in 2005 & Beijing (China) 2006.

Mr. Dalvi was elected Member on COA 1991 –1994, Executive Committee Member on COA 1994 – 97 & Vice President COA 1997 – 2001, Member, Executive Committee of PEATA 1987-1993 & Hon. Secy. PEATA 1997– 1998.

He has been the recipient of Gun-Gaurav Award for Life time achievement for PEATA for 2005, Vice Chairman, Indian Institute of Interior Designers, Mumbai Centre 1999-2001, Member of Governing Council on number of Architecture Colleges in Maharashtra, Member on AICTE (Western Region) 1997-2001, Member and Advisory Committee MTNL 1998-2001. Chief Secy. of Akhil Bharitya Marathi Natya Parishad Mumbai (2001-2003).

Noshir Talati is the founder and Chairman of Talati & Panthaky-Associated Pvt. Ltd., an Architectural and Interior Design Firm in practice for over four decades. He holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan, USA, and is a member of various professional bodies in India.

Mr. Talati has designed and handled projects of various complexities and magnitudes for commercial, institutional, educational, medical, residential and various other building and interiors.

He is a gold medalist awardee for Excellence in designing and also holds many awards some being - American Alumni Association - AAA Leadership Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Rashtriya Udyog Award for outstanding achievements etc. among others.

   
 
   

Bose Krishnamachari born in Kerala, 1963, completed his BFA from the J. J. School of Art, before doing a Masters from Goldsmiths College, University of London. He has mounted a number of solo shows, the most prominent of these being A museum [1992], Objects of Attention [1995], Dandy [1996], De Curating-India Contemporary Artists [2003], Exist [2005] Ghost/ Transmemoir [2006], at Gallery ArtsIndia, New York, and LaVA [Laboratory of Visual Arts, a traveling installation project], Bombay, Bangalore, Kolkata, Cochin, Baroda and New Delhi [2006/07].
Bose has also participated in numerous group shows including Persistence of Memory[1997], NGMA’s 50 Years of Indian Art [1999], Mutations – ‘Rumor City’ (curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist) in Tokyo [2001], Vanitas Vanitatum (curated by Peter Nagy) [2004], Paths of Progression [2005], and Ghost/ Transmemoir at Lille3000 [France-2006], Masters- 2007 Dubai, Art Amsterdam -2007, Peabody Essex Museum -2007 U.S.A., “India Art Now: Contemporary Indian Art Between Continuity And Transformation” -2007-Milan ,curated by Daniela Palazzoli among several others.

Having arrived in Bombay, in 1986, with only a prospectus of J.J School of Arts, Bose feels strongly about supporting the younger generation of artists, to make inroads in the contemporary art world. By curating and conceptualizing exhibitions [like Bombay X 1’7, Bombay Boys, KAAM, the much acclaimed Double-Enders, a show comprising works by a host of artists from Kerala, MaaRKERS , “Soft Spoken” and “SPY-07”] and creating a platform for younger, lesser known talent, Bose has introduced many young artists to the urban art circles and helped to give them visibility in the larger cities.
